Current roadmap

From paperwork to the first community project.

A plain-language path from legal setup to public trust, community recruiting, pilot work, and the first community site when ready.

Phase 1: Draft bylaws, confirm EIN status, identify community land trust counsel, choose IRS application path, and build a basic public website.
Phase 2: Receive IRS determination if approved, set up donation processing, document early pilots, recruit board/community roles, and publish basic transparency records.
Phase 3+: Crowdfund when legally ready, acquire land if approved, build the first community site, publish open-source learning materials, and replicate with clean records.
